Supercars race winner Anton De Pasquale appointed Optihealth Group Ambassador
The Team 18 driver joins the Australian health technology company behind Thrive Health Band and Thrive Workforce, bringing a professional driver's focus on sleep, recovery and preparation to everyday Australians.
BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA, 16 July 2026: Australian health technology company Optihealth Group today announced that Supercars driver Anton De Pasquale has been appointed an Optihealth Group Ambassador.
De Pasquale drives the No. 18 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Team 18 in the 2026 Repco Supercars Championship and joins Optihealth Group during a strong season. He won Race 2 of the season-opening Sydney 500 from pole position in February, took his second win of the year at Darwin’s Hidden Valley Raceway on 21 June, and last Saturday drove from 11th on the grid to finish second at the Townsville 500.
A Supercars season asks a lot of its drivers. Race weekends bring long days, early starts and hours of concentration in a hot cockpit, with travel between rounds across Australia and New Zealand. Preparation, sleep and recovery between events are part of the job.
De Pasquale uses Thrive Health Band to help him understand his sleep, training and recovery as part of that preparation. As an Optihealth Group Ambassador, he will help share the company’s belief that understanding your own patterns, such as how you sleep, how you recover and how you respond to a demanding week, matters just as much on a work roster or a busy week at home as it does on a race weekend.
“Anton brings a calm, thoughtful approach to preparation that we really admire. Race weekends ask a lot of a driver, and so do long shifts, busy family lives and everything in between. Thrive is about helping people understand what’s usual for them, so they can notice when things shift and make small, sensible choices. We’re delighted to welcome Anton to the Optihealth Group family.”
Linda Gordon, Co-Founder and COO, Optihealth Group
“Recovery is a massive part of racing, and being able to track my sleep, fatigue and recovery helps me understand how my body is responding to training and make sure I’m as prepared as possible when I get behind the wheel.”

Optihealth Group designs, builds and supports its Thrive platform in Australia. Thrive Health Band is a screenless wellness wearable that works with the Thrive app to learn what’s usual for each person across sleep, recovery and activity, and to help them understand what’s changing over time. Thrive Workforce brings the same approach to workplaces, giving employers aggregated, de-identified wellbeing insights while people keep control of their own data.
“The demands Anton manages across a season, long days, travel and staying sharp when it counts, will feel familiar to many shift workers and teams around the country. That’s a conversation we’re looking forward to having with employers through Thrive Workforce.”
Linda Gordon, Co-Founder and COO, Optihealth Group
De Pasquale joins AFL premiership captain Max Gawn, who became an Optihealth Group Brand Ambassador in September 2025.
